Unda Camping is located 8 km west of Uddevalla and is situated in a scenic area adjacent to a beach with lovely cliffs and sandy beaches. Here you can stay peacefully in a cottage or on a camping site in your own motorhome, caravan or tent.
West of Uddevalla with swimming nearby
At Unda you can spend your free time playing mini golf, playing in the playgrounds, going on the water slide or playing football. During the month of July there are children’s activities and bingo walks. Dancing on the mountain to the sound of an orchestra is organised on Midsummer Eve and Saturdays in July.
The campsite has a well-stocked grocery store and Restaurant Sjöstjärnan with a fantastic view of the Byfjord.
Excursions in the area
Near Unda is Herrestadsfjället – a mighty plateau, just north of Uddevalla with lovely hiking trails and great fishing opportunities. Pike and perch fishing lakes. If you want to experience nature on foot, we can also recommend the Bohusleden and Kuststigen trails, which you can reach in stages by car and with Unda Camping as your starting point.
From Unda jetty you can board m/s Sunningen or m/s Gustavsberg. Here you can see when the boats leave. There are also day trips to Käringön and Smögen with m/s Byfjorden. Also daily public bus and boat service to Uddevalla.
If you head south along the coastal road or via the E6, you will reach the coastal community of Ljungskile. There is the cosy Kärrstegens Gård with interior design, café and farm shop, the Lax shop, Villa Sjötorp and the Musselbar, all of which can be recommended when it’s time to enjoy a coffee, lunch or dinner.
