Marstrand Family Camping

Marstrands Family Camping is located in a lovely archipelago environment and only 4 miles from the big city of Gothenburg. Here you are close to everything that will make your holiday an unforgettable memory. Stay in your own caravan, motorhome or tent on a camping pitch, or rent a cottage. The campsite is located in a quiet and scenic area and it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the ferry that takes you over to the car-free island of Marstrand.

Från Marstrands Familjecamping är det ca 100 m till havet och den barnvänliga sandstranden. You can also find your own hiding place among the rocks and have a lovely day of sun and swimming.

The campsite has a large playground with a cable car and swings as well as an adventure golf course where you can challenge your family or friends. If you want to play real golf, there is a golf course 10 km away. 1 km from the campsite there is a diving center and kayak rental for those who want to experience even more of the ocean’s possibilities.

If you’re looking for a nice excursion, visit Carlsten Fortress on the island of Marstrand. There you can experience the historical atmosphere among dungeons and underground passageways. There are also guided tours.

Continue your walk beyond the fortress and around the island, where you’ll be treated to magnificent views.

In the evening, you can stroll along Marstrandsön’s quay amid the crowds and perhaps visit one of the island’s cozy restaurants and cafes.
