Refeshing swims and activities at Tjörn
With a five-minute bike ride from Hav & Logi and you are at one of Tjörn’s most beautiful bathing spots. Nearby islets and the surroundings around Skärhamn’s well-visited harbor also offer great swimming opportunities. Here you can fish for crabs or discover the archipelago from the waterline in a kayak.
Just a few minutes’ walk from the campsite is the award-winning Nordic Watercolor Museum. This is the place where art from all over the world meets Tjörn’s beautiful nature.
Sights and excursion destinations in and around Skärhamn
From the top of Tjörn’s highest mountain, Vetteberget, you can see for miles around. On Solklinten, along Sundsby’s hiking trail, you can enjoy the beauty of the Stigfjord with all its cobs and shards. To name just two examples from the fantastic range of nature experiences Tjörn has to offer. Here you will find hiking trails with slightly easier walking opportunities as well as more demanding ones. The hiking trails are marked with signs or other markings.
Park at Kyrkesund and take the ferry to Härön’s beautiful surroundings. From Rönnäng in the south, the ferry goes to Åstol and Dyrön. Åstol is the island where the houses are close together and the atmosphere is always at its best. and Dyrön. The cozy harbor has a restaurant with its own smokehouse and is filled with vacationing boats during the summer season. Dyrön is the quieter of the two, a real idyllic island of lush greenery.
Charming Klädesholmen is best known for its herring, but there are also restaurants and saunas here. Further out in the archipelago is also Marstrand and the Pater Noster lighthouse.
