First Camp Lilleby – Gothenburg

First Camp Lilleby is located on Hisingen, 17 km from central Gothenburg. Only 250 metres from the campsite you will find one of Gothenburg’s most attractive beaches. There are 80 modern cottages with 4-6 beds, camping and a main building with reception and cafe.

There is a children’s playground, a path to a lookout point and beautiful paths and exercise trails for hiking and cycling around the campsite. In Gothenburg there is the southern part of the Bohusleden and the northern part of the Hallandsleden for those who want to walk and the Kattegattleden for those who prefer to cycle.

At the sea bath is one of Gothenburg’s better trout fishing and mackerel fishing.

Day trips on land and in the Gothenburg archipelago

From the campsite you can easily reach central Gothenburg by public transport. Liseberg, the largest amusement park in the Nordic countries, Universeum, with everything from sharks and rainforests to technology and exciting experiments. Visit the Volvo Museum, discover Elfsborg Fortress, take a classic Paddan boat tour, or experience everything else that Gothenburg has to offer.

Take the ferry over to one of Gothenburg’s fantastic islands, such as Öckerö, Hönö or Björkö. Ferries depart from Lilla Varholmen all day, about 1.2 miles from the campsite.
