Daftö Resort

At Daftö Resort, 5 km south of the beautiful coastal town of Strömstad and right next to the Daftöland amusement park, every day is an adventure. Modify your stay here to your liking – with a mobile home, caravan or tent on a camping site, in a cabin, in the Pirathotellet or with your own boat in the guest harbour. Regardless of which accommodation option you choose, you live close to Kosterhavet, activities with and without pirates, the pool area, shop, reception and restaurants. Wifi is available throughout the facility.

Daftö Resort offers accommodation and activities for the whole family.

During the summer and long weekends, a large range of activities is carried out with the Daftö pirates. If you want to get active on your own, there is adventure golf, padel courts, hiking trails, an outdoor gym, pool and beaches for sunbathing, bathing and swimming. If you want to experience an adventure for the whole family, there is Daftökampen where you can challenge each other within the family or challenge another family in games inspired by Swedish television shows Wild Kids, Survival and Sveriges starkaste familj.

The vast majority of activities are included for those who stay at Daftö Resort. Here you’ll find hotel rooms, cottages in various sizes, glamping cabins, guest marina berths, and camping pitches with electrical sockets, TV sockets, water and sewage connections. There is also a CamperClean in the area. The facility is open all year round.

The amusement park Daftöland – the family’s destination

Daftö Resort has the amusement park Daftöland with attractions, games and pirates. Here there are eateries when the energy needs to be replenished and an arcade hall where you can test your gambling luck. Inside the park there is also a shop where you can dress yourself and the children up as real pirates to take the experience home with you.

Experience Strömstad and the Koster

From Daftö’s excursion jetty, boat tours depart to the Koster Islands. Boats also leave from central Strömstad. In the town center, you can also catch the Color Line ferry for a day trip to Norway, or simply stroll around Strömstad’s charming center with its shops, restaurants, and cafés. Strömstad is also the starting point for the northernmost sections of the Bohusleden and Kuststigen trails – hiking routes through stunning natural landscapes that are well worth exploring.
