Falkenberg
7 km from the summer town of Falkenberg and a short walk from the sandy beach is Olofsbo Camping. A campsite visited by families since 1963. In addition to camping sites for caravans, mobile homes and tents, there are both simpler and more modern cabins with shower and toilet to rent, and for spontaneous mobile home campers there are pitches with drop-in.
Activities at Olofsbo Camping
At Olofsbo Camping there is a playground with bouncy cushion, football, volleyball, table tennis, boules and guided walks organized in the surrounding area. And then the sandy beach of course, which is an experience in itself. Lazy summer days with sun and swimming or looking out over the horizon sitting in the dunes when the sun is going down.
For those of you who want to hike, the Hallandsleden trail is not far away and the Kattegattleden runs right next to the coastal road for those of you who would rather experience more of Halland from the bike saddle.
Excursion destinations and taste experiences
The lighthouse at Morups Tånge can be seen from afar and shows the way to Glommens harbor where you can take a walk among piers and boats. Morups Tånge is a beautiful and animal-rich nature reserve south of Glommen. Both birds and people come here to enjoy nature. Sit down and watch the sea life from the front row.
The lighthouse at Morups Tånge was built in 1841 and is 27 meters high. In the 1930s, it was modernized with electricity. The lighthouse still spreads its light over the Kattegat today, but has been unmanned since 1962. The lighthouse is open for visits on certain days during the summer season, more information is available here.
For those interested in beer, there are several microbreweries in the immediate area. Agerör’s coastal brewery and Pine Ridge are two of them.
Another tip for you who visit us is to go to rill Gårdsbutik Thuresson. There is Halland’s largest meat counter filled with locally produced meat from the surrounding farms. Home-made charcuterie delicacies, ready-to-eat cheeses from our own kitchen, catering, locally grown vegetables and much more. Outside the shop, you can meet the mangalica pigs that bleat around in the paddock.
